The Sustainable Agricultural Organisation is highly obligated to its members as well as its advisory committee for their continuous support and commitment during the whole duration of the project. SAO is also thankful to AIESEC UTM for the opportunity and their continuous support. Last but not least, the merit for the success of this project goes to the numerous collaborators who took some time out of their schedule and welcomed us for the site visits.
Abstract:
The project Smart Agriculture under the LC AIESEC UTM in close collaboration with the NGO Sustainable Agricultural Organisation, successfully ended on the 10th February. The aim of this project was to expose the interns on the different sectors in agriculture namely the pig industry, poultry industry and horticulture among others. Several PowerPoint presentations and site visits were organized by the NGO to sensitize the interns on the importance of Agriculture and its vulnerability to climate change.
